Blueberry Hills Farms is a family owned & operated u-pick berry farm, with a farmhouse-style restaurant, fruit stand and country gift shop near the sunny banks of Lake Chelan. ¶ This photo-sphere is of the field in the later part of July (2014), which experienced and early picking season. Hence the family further up the row filling their buckets. ¶ This is just one of several areas and seasons captured in the fully-360-degree virtual tour. ¶ ¶ The Sorensen family of Manson, Washington, USA has been farming for 5 generations. In fact, back in the early 1900s, they were orchardists, but when it was time for change they tried something many thought would not work. They started planting over a thousand blueberry bushes in this high desert climate. It seems the berries loved their new home; larger and sweeter than expected! ¶ They are working their small, family owned & operated, 10+ acre berry farm (picked or u-pick) & country restaurant that specializes in down-home, scratch country cooking. And they make a lot of pies, and not just low-added-sugar berry pies either. ¶ The new “Barn” (they broke ground in 2002), with its restaurant and gift shop with a view has been a hit with locals and visitors alike. It includes a large outdoor covered deck with extra tables and an even more spectacular territorial view which also includes their berry fields. ¶ ~paraphrased 2013 from  Blueberry Hills, 1315 Washington Street, Manson, Washington 98831 USA
