The Accessibility Services Department is open Monday through Friday from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM PT, and on weekends and holidays from 10:00 AM to 6:00 PM PT. On event days, hours are extended beginning one hour prior to showtime through the start of the final show.
Arriving at Sphere
Guests looking to use an accessible entrance can enter the property via Sands Avenue and enter the venue via the East Entry or West Entry. The Venetian pedestrian bridge, if accessed via The Venetian Resort, is also an accessible entrance.
Accessible parking spots are available on a first come first serve basis both onsite and in nearby lots. For more information about parking at Sphere click here.
If you or someone in your party has a medical condition or specific needs that require bringing in outside food or beverage, please contact the Accessibility Services Department here or 725-258-6724 prior to your event to ensure smooth entry into the venue.
Service animals are permitted inside Sphere. If you or a member of your party is bringing a service animal, we strongly recommend that you contact the Accessibility Services Department here or 725-258-6724 prior to your event.
Onsite Experience
Escalators and elevators are located throughout the venue. All elevators have elevator operators to assist patrons.
All restrooms are accessible. Family/all-gender restrooms are also located throughout Sphere. Please see a guest experience representative onsite for directions to the nearest location.
Guests with mobility limitations who do not have access to a mobility device may request a wheelchair transport that will take you directly to your seat, free of charge and can be arranged upon arrival. Please be aware that our personnel are not able to remain with you during the event or provide personal attendant services throughout the Atrium, nor will you be able to remain in the transporting wheelchair for the duration of the event. To fully explore the Atrium at your leisure, we recommend bringing your own mobility device.
Sphere offers seating with movable armrests and chairs without armrests. Please contact the Accessibility Services Department here or 725-258-6724 at least 48 hours in advance of your event to allow time for any necessary accommodations.
There are electrical outlets available throughout the venue. Please contact the Accessibility Services Department here or 725-258-6724 in advance of your event for further assistance.
Events at Sphere are immersive experiences that, depending on the event, may include elements such as seat haptics, movement sensations, flashing lights, intense lighting, visual effects, loud noises, falling and flying objects, projectiles, pyrotechnics and atmospheric simulations such as fog, mist, bubbles, wind and scent. Such elements may aggravate certain medical or physical conditions, and guests should take into consideration if they have a history of discomfort or physical symptoms when experiencing these elements. If you have any concerns and/or are pregnant, you should consult with your physician prior to attending an immersive experience. Sphere has partnered with KultureCity to improve our ability to assist and accommodate guests with sensory needs. Sensory bags, containing special KCVIP badges, fidget tools, noise canceling headphones and other resources, are available for rent at no cost by leaving an ID at one of our Guest Services Offices on levels 2 and 6.
There are two designated Sensory Rooms located on levels 2 and 6 that are open during public events, subject to availability. Please see your nearest guest experience representative for additional assistance onsite.
Assistive Listening Devices (ALD) are complimentary and available for guests who are deaf or hard of hearing. Please visit one of the Guest Services Offices, which are located on levels 2 and 6, upon arrival to arrange for an ALD. Collateral, such as a driver’s license or credit card, is required to borrow an ALD and will be exchanged at the conclusion of the event.
Sphere offers closed captioning of The Wizard of Oz at Sphere. Guests may access the captioning via a complimentary Assistive Listening Device (ALD) which is available at the Guest Services Offices located on levels 2 and 6. Collateral, such as a driver’s license or credit card, is required to borrow an ALD and will be exchanged at the conclusion of the event.
For other events, Sphere may offer sign language interpreters or closed captioning to guests who request an accommodation. Guests may access the description by connecting to “Free Sphere Wi-Fi” and downloading the Sennheiser Mobile Connect app on their personal device or via a complimentary Assistive Listening Device (ALD) which are available at the Guest Services Offices located on levels 2 and 6. Collateral, such as a driver’s license or credit card, is required to borrow an ALD and will be exchanged at the conclusion of the event. Please find your nearest guest experience representative for assistance onsite.
Reverse ATMs are equipped with braille number pads, volume increase capability and voice activation, and are compatible with headphones.
Storage is available for wheelchairs, canes, walkers and other mobility devices at Guest Services, located on Levels 2 and 6. From there, guest experience representatives are available to assist you to your seat. Upon conclusion of the event, please find the nearest guest experience representative if you need an escort to Guest Services to pick up your mobility device.
